At Knowing Horse, we understand how life's challenges can leave one feeling stuck, unsure or uncertain.  Sometimes there is a problem to be solved, a relationship to clarify or a need to change the path we've been on. Sometimes it is the pain of life's sorrows that call for healing. We can guide you toward discovering what it is you need and how to get where you want to go.  Our Equine-Assisted programs (equine-assisted learning and psychotherapy incorporating horses) allow clients to re-discover themselves as they gain insight, build self-confidence, increase clarity, and strengthen communication skills.

​Noreen Esposito is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, experienced horseperson, and author, and holds advanced certification through EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association). She works with Micky Purcell (Folly Farm), a certified equine specialist and together, with the horses, they offer experiences that bypass the distractions of language and touch on a very basic, yet crucial part of self.

Noreen Esposito is the author of “How Change Happens in Equine-Assisted Interventions”, a book targeted toward clinicians and researchers that provides a theory to explain the multiple dimensions of complexity occurring throughout interventions involving horses. Practitioners can expect to gain fresh perspectives and additional insight into the subject matter.
