We have had a very busy few months.  First the EAGALA networking meeting in February.  It was great to meet Equine Specialists and Mental Health Specialists who practice the EAGALA model in NC.  The meeting was held at Folly Farm in Chapel Hill & we had a surprise visitor  from EAGALA.  It was pretty cool!

In March I went to Mesquite, Texas, not far from Dallas, to attend the 2014 annual international EAGALA conference.  Three days of meeting, sharing, learning and being with people from all over the world who do  this amazing work of helping horses help people.

And now, lots of activity here at home.

Donna and I had great weather at November's EAGALA meeting in Marion.  Here is one of the key players during an afternoon session.

It has been a busy fall for KnowingHorse.   Micky and I squeezed out some time  and headed to Marion, NC for an EAGALA training.  Three days outside in beautiful weather. And with horses!  Switching from our usual roles, we had the rare chance to be participants rather than the facilitators in an EAL session.

We are looking forward to the second part of the  workshop coming up in November.   It's amazing how powerful these experiences are.  Can't think of another professional conference that compares to an EAGALA event.    Of course, heading to the mountains of NC in November will be a bit chilly.  This is Micky and Donna trying to push frost off the folding chairs in an early morning session last year.   We were all grateful for the bonfire that started our days.
