EAGALA Model: Corporate Programs
KnowingHorse offers EAGALA Model sessions designed specifically for the unique needs of corporate groups. These non-riding sessions can cut quickly to the core of how people think and respond in day-to-day situations. Our EAGALA Model sessions facilitate team building, develop leadership skills, and give insight into non-verbal communication. We will help your groups work through real-world problems in a unique and challenging way.
When we are standing on-the-ground with horses who are free to move at will, size alone heightens our awareness & sets us up for change. This is an experience unlike any other. The horse, a very large animal with a highly evolved ability to sense mood & intent is actively participating with us. How we are in an EAGALA Model session is how we are in life!
What will the EAGALA Model do for us?
For the individual it's like looking in a mirror. What works gets reinforced, what doesn't becomes a catalyst for changing our mental landscape & being in the world in a new & different way.
For teams, the EAGALA Model will highlight strengths & weaknesses & push participants to come up with workable & effective solutions that translate to real-world settings. More powerful than inspiring words, participants physically & mentally work out what needs to be done in a very large way. Experiential learning is deep.
Someone can tell us how to ride a bicycle, show us examples of bicycle riding and we can even watch bicycle riding videos but it is the actual experience of riding a bike that is crucial. That embodiment of the experience integrates neural connections in the brain & influences us in ways we cannot understand. The EAGALA Model let's us play out our responses to these real-life experiences with the horses without financial or client risk. Once we return to our work-world, the mental images of the horses & people become the reference point and serve as a guiding force in team meetings and interactions for months and years to come.
At KnowingHorse we tailor the EAGALA Model sessions to your agency's objectives & goals. We provide 1/2 day; full day or three day sessions. Group sizes are flexible, smaller groups maximize one-on-one horse-human contact.
